Description

This position is available at any of Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw or Prince Albert.

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of a Team Lead, this position is an integral member of a team that provides project management and business analysis services within Information Technology Services (ITS).
Working with key stakeholders, sponsors and project team members, this position will be responsible for managing IT projects of varying degrees of complexity, risk and scope.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum two year diploma from a recognized institution in Information Technology or Business Administration (foreign education must have Canadian equivalency certification) or an equivalent combination of recent and relevant education, training and experience.
2. Five years of progressive experience in a project manager or business analyst role within an enterprise information technology environment.
3. Demonstrated business analysis and project management experience, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business unit needs, translate that into application and operational requirements and prepare technology proposals for clients.
4. Effective analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
5. Effective interpersonal communication and facilitation skills.
6. Knowledge of information gathering techniques including use cases, workflow analysis, process analysis, etc.
7. Knowledge of technology trends and the ability to assess the impact of those trends on Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
8. Effective organizational and time management skills. The ability to work in extremely stressful, time critical conditions and make accountable decisions.
9. Ability to collaborate and work well in teams with a high level of initiative and motivation.
10. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
