Description

Saskatoon Sexual Health is a vibrant and passionate organization that serves a vital role in providing sexual health resources in Saskatoon. We're searching for an Executive Director with similar passion who can lead and grow our organization

Our Executive Director is a vital member of the SSH team. They provide leadership to our staff and work with our board; develop and write grants, funding, and sponsorship applications; support educational programming and clinical services; act as the lead administrator of human resources, financial management, and payroll; engage with partner organizations to build relationships that improve client outcomes; assist clients in crisis situations including unplanned pregnancy; and build the organization through developing a vision for change and the future of the organization.

You will form real relationships with staff, board members, volunteers, clients, and the broarder community. You will have the opportunity to build a future vision for sexual and reproductive health in our community. You will handle people's most sensitive information, talk with clients in distress or crisis, and communicate SSH caring, non-judgemental attitude always. You must be knowledgeable about the health needs of diverse communities, social determinants of health, and leadership. Experience with bookkeeping and QuickBooks would make you an exceptional candidate for this position. This position is best suited to someone with personal and professional experience, and a background in nursing, social work, community-development, health administration, non-profit leadership, public health, sociology, psychology, and other health-related fields.
