Description

We are busy and we need your help! The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Regina is currently recruiting for more banquet event servers to join our awesome team of customer service champions. We will train if you want to learn!

The shifts required are between the hours of 6:00am and 5:00pm and can be flexible for the right candidates. Hours will be around 20-30 hours/week with opportunity for more hours as we approach the holiday season.    

Skills and Abilities:
- Fast paced event service and requires individuals to hustle and make quick decisions
- Able to follow directions and execute duties with proper serving standards and health regulations
- Ability to be on ones feet for prolong periods

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service to guests
- Be responsible for the proper handling of all food products to ensure the utmost in freshness, quality and safety  

Requirements
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Previous serving experience is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must be available to work morning shifts throughout the week and weekend including some holidays

 - Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware

 - Address customers' complaints or concerns
 - Set tables
 - Replace linen
 - Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas

 - Assist customers with special needs
 - Customer service oriented
 - Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
