Main duties of the job:
Summary of Work Performed: Prepare & cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; Prepare and cook special meals for restaurant patrons; Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers; Oversee kitchen
operations; Maintain inventory & records of food, supplies & equipment; Clean kitchen & work area; Plan menus for special events, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements & costs, and monitor supplies; Additional duties as assigned.
Education requirements of the job:
Some high school an asset
Experience/skills required of the job:
Minimum 1 2 years working as Cook
Description of work conditions:
Franchise restaurant kitchen
Language requirements:
Minimal English with some ability to read, comprehend, write, speak, and listen
Salary level per hour & per year (in Canadian dollars): $13.00/hr plus overtime paid as per Saskatchewan Labour Standards Act; Wage increase based on performance on annual reviews.
Number of hours per week:
Full Time described as per the Saskatchewan Labour Standards Act
Expected duration of employment:
Cooks that will commit to permanent employment with our company.
