Description

The Building Attendant is an in-scope position reporting to the Campus Manager or designate.  The incumbent is primarily responsible for ensuring the distance education site is operational and accessible to students/clients.  The Building Attendant has a range of duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following; ensure the facility is open for students/clients; ensure equipment is operating correctly; arrange classroom furniture to accommodate the type of event and size of group; tape televised sessions and facilitate the studentss subsequent viewing of the lessons; maintain exam security, invigilate and return documents to appropriate institute; ensure student registration forms are distributed, completed and returned to the Program Coordinator; conduct security rounds to ensure the safety of the students and property.
