Assistant Professor (tenure-track), Department of Microbiology and Immunology, College of Medicine, U of S. Candidates with training in Immunology must have a PhD and/or MD, a record of excellence in research, and promise of excellence in teaching. You are expected to develop an independent externally funded research program and teach in graduate and undergraduate health sciences programs.The Department is a multidisciplinary department with active graduate programs at Masters and Doctoral levels, and an undergraduate degree program in Microbiology and Immunology. We have strong partnerships including the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization-International Vaccine Centre; the College of Veterinary Medicine, the School of Public Health, and the Canadian Light Source.
Salary range $93,293 - $112,109 with a comprehensive benefits package comprising a pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefit, dental plan, extended health and vision care plan, employee assistance program and flexible health and wellness spending program.
