This is a Fee For Service position. The Physician will maintain a fulltime (Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day) Family Medicine Practice in Estevan, Saskatchewan, have admitting privileges to St. Joseph's Hospital, and provide Emergency on call coverage on a 1/10 basis.
St.Joseph's Hospital of Estevan is a fully accredited Health Care Facility in south east Saskatchewan. Services provided include Acute Care, Obstetrics Ward, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Dialysis Ward, full diagnostics including Laboratory , X-Ray , Ultrasound and CT Services.
Applicants must have:
-College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) (or be eligible for)
-Licensure with CPSS (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan) (or be eligible for)
-a valid drivers license
-legal entitlement to work in Canada
-3 acceptable references
-an acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
Additional Information:
-Relocation funding of up to $5000-$7500 in exchange for a 1 year return in service
-Community incentives, assistance with housing and settlement
