The person in this position will operate, and maintain the rod hauler in a safe and efficient manner to deliver and transfer continuous rod strings both on customer locations as well as Weatherford sites.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport corod to and from P2P plants, to customer locations
Complete all daily, weekly and monthly paperwork and in a timely manner. (log books, pre-trips, weekly inspections, parts requisitions, and all other relevant paperwork)
Install the corod from the unit into the well, working with a corig, service rig/mobile gripper, often third party companies.
Transfer corod from unit/trailer to service reels both on location and in yards
Often required to pull a trailer for multiple p2p deliveries.
Monitors and maintains all required tools and stock for all daily operations.
Maintain sufficient communication between Field Supervisor in regards to daily operations and preventative maintenance of the Rod Hauler unit.
Maintain good communication between oil company rep, and all third party workers while on their sites.
Observe and follow all Weatherford Procedures and Practices, as well as Stopping any unsafe work, regardless of experience.
Participation in Proactive reporting as well as all safety programs in place at Weatherford.
Obtain and keep current all certifications and documents for the rod hauler unit.
Perform any other duties relevant to the operation of the unit.
Qualifications:
Clean class 3 driver's license First Aid, H2S, TDG, etc. tickets required
Previous oilfield experience is an asset but not necessary
Flexibility to work in remote locations; varying work schedules and extreme conditions Minimum
