eHealth Saskatchewan is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation.  We are searching for a Senior Business Analyst with customer focus who values knowing that the work they do has a direct impact on the lives of patients and their families. The type of work will vary every day, but will revolve primarily around documenting business processes and requirements and specifications, and providing support and training for technology solutions.  

A key to success in this role is building strong relationships, having a strong customer focus, a knack for solving complex IT problems, and making connections (knowing who else to involve and when). To make that happen, you will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, complex technology driven environment. Within our environment, the situations you will encounter arent black and white, so you must be proficient in solving complex problems, delivering solutions, and enjoy working within the gray. Proven experience and skills in effective communication, problem solving, documentation standards, and a rigor for change management protocols and quality control are also required.  Expertise is required for best practices for application use and future integrations in clinical settings such as the EHR Viewer.

The knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of a Certified Business Analysis Professional Designation or Equivalent, supplemented with 5 or more years of experience in a similar role. A strong technical background, facilitation and Healthcare Clinical experience (or Health Sector related business knowledge) is required.  ITIL Certification is considered an asset.  Preference will be given to experience in EMRs and integration of healthcare IT applications with common EHR systems, interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, CDA, CCD and standards such as LOINC, SNOMED, ICD 9/10
