Description

Delage Farms is a large modern grain farm located at Indian Head and is currently seeking a versatile in house accountant, who will be responsible for bookkeeping, accounting and financial management.

As a member of the Delage Farms team your  duties will include:
- Completing journal entries and the reconciliation of invoices, statements and grain receipts
- Preparing Monthly Financial Reporting
- Tracking assets and inventory
- Completing payroll and payroll related functions
- Basic Adminstration
- Insurance and licencing
- Accountable for Crop Insurance submissions
- Participating in financial audits

Qualifications:
- Post secondary accounting degree/diploma with preference for applicants actively enrolled in the CPA designation.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Agriculture experience preferred
- An understanding of Tax law and implications
