Heavy Crude Hauling L.P. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Mullen Group of Companies. We are a leader in the transportation of heavy crude oil and produced water, providing a secure Pipeline on Wheels from well sites to batteries and disposal facilities. We operate tank/trailer units which include Body jobs, tandems, Trades, Quads and Super B-train combinations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in welding repairs to tanker trailers and trucks
General fabrication
Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment
Valve repair and testing (visual and pressure testing)
Tank inspections and testing as set out in accordance with Transport Canada guidelines and regulations would be an asset.
Use of small equipment such as hand tools, wrenches,grinders, saws, etc.
General maintenance of trailer fleet
General shop duties i.e. sweeping and cleaning
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be enrolled with an Apprenticeship Board within the Province of Alberta or Saskatchewan.
Must pass an in-house welding test.
