The City of Humboldt invites applications for a Part Time Senior Lifeguard/Instructor for the Community and Leisure Services Department Aquatic Center.
The wages for this position will be in accordance with C.U.P.E. Local No.2359 Agreement (ranging from $19.41 to $21.41 per hour) and the duties will be as identified in the job description. Must be available to work daytime, evenings, and weekends.
This is a service position under the direction and responsibility of the Aquatics Manager. The successful application will be required to perform duties in the Aquatic Center, lifeguarding, instructing swimming lessons, and assist with maintenance duties. The successful applicant must have a Lifeguard Certification, Swim Instructor Certification, First Aid and CPR, customer service and organizational skills.
Preference will be given to applicants with the following: Experience with instructing swimming lessons and lifeguarding, an Aqua Fit Certificate, and Pool Operators Certificate.
