Description

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association exists to support and encourage foster families through education and advocacy, helping create healthy homes, positive environments, and brighter futures for children and youth in care across the province. We are currently seeking one (1) Full-time and one (1) Part-time overnight support staff for a home in Christopher Lake.

This diverse position performs many tasks that include, but are not limited to childcare, domestic supports or increased supports for behavioral a/o medical needs of individual children or youth.
The successful applicant will be flexible in order to successfully meet the changing demands in the workplace. The chosen applicant will also be confident, self-motivated and an individual who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and who is courteous and attentive to detail. This individual must have experience working with all ages of children and will be required to work between the hours of 11pm-7am.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in the childcare or youth care field, equivalent experience or a combination of both
Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with children, supervisors, and partnering agencies and maintain strict confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in an oral and written form
