Description

Position Description: To create and implement an effective sales process that results in expanded membership in the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce (SCC).

Key Functions/Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on businesses in Saskatchewan and develop and maintain a system for identifying prospective members.  Contact business decision-makers to market the activities and benefits of the SCC.
- Visit potential Chamber members, explain the importance of the Chambers role in provincial affairs, and sell memberships to the business community.
- Maintain communication tools and provide information for Action! Online.
- Provide new membership information to the office and inform the C.E.O. of issues and concerns raised by the business community.
- Provide guidance and assistance to members on the member benefits to ensure clarity and to maximize use of these benefits.
- Maintain good working relationships with local chambers

The perfect candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a record of success. This person will be very organized and be motivated by sales success. Superb communication skills are invaluable and knowledge or experience in business in Saskatchewan is an advantage. Candiates must have valid drivers license and be willing to travel within the province.
