LOOKING FOR A PERMANENT FULL TIME CAREGIVER/BABYSITTER TO CARE FOR 2 CHILDREN (7 1/2 AND 4 1/2 YEAR OLD). CAREGIVER IS TO ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE HOUSEHOLD IN THE ABSENCE OF PARENTS. MAINTAIN A SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT IN THE HOME. PLAY AGE APPROPRIATE GAMES, TEND TO EMOTIONAL WELL BEING OF THE CHILDREN, PREPARE SNACKS & MEALS. FLEXIBILITY WITH WORK SCHEDULE IS REQUIRED. JOB IS GIVEN PREFERENCE TO CANADIANS, NEW IMMIGRANTS, VISIBLE MINORITIES, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND INDIGENOUS PEOPLE. MUST HAVE 1 YEAR CHILD CARE RELATED EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING.
RATE OF PAY IS $13.02/HOUR AND ANY HOURS IN EXCESS OF 40 HOURS PER WEEK WILL BE PAID AT 1.5 TIMES THE REGULAR RATE.
OPTIONAL ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE AT NO CHARGE ON A LIVE IN BASIS. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
