Melody Motors is looking for an Automotive Lube Technician. This employee provides automotive services for customers by performing consistent and accurate inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safely, and according to Ford's quality and time standards. The qualified candidate will be able to utilize hose reels, be hardworking, and able to follow direction well. All work completed must comply with Ford and Melody Motor's safety and environmental programs and practices. We require an intelligent automotive enthusiast that believes in preventative maintenance to ensure we uphold our vision statement of "Ford makes the car, Melody makes the difference".
Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years experience in automotive service preferred
Other certifications/licenses as required by provincial law
WHMIS 1988 & WHMIS 2015 required
Valid driver's license required
Basic computer skills
Working Conditions:
Using hand and/or power tools and equipment consistent with industry standards
CSA approved hard-toe shoes required
Working on concrete floor
Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Using equipment consistent with industry standards
Driving a vehicle, forklift, and maneuvering trailers
Operate out of a bay with adequate ventilation, includes an oil pit
