Yorkton Co-op is looking to fill the position of Full -Time Agro Yard Foreman at our Agro site in Ebenezer, SK.

The Agro Yard Foreman is accountable for providing operational excellence by supervising and training staff, providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe work environment and operating and maintaining the facility and grounds for the safe and efficient operation of the fertilizer facility.  The successful candidate will be hands-on with the blending of fertilizer, loading and storing product and operation of machinery. They will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, environmental and OHS compliance, and assisting with ordering and receiving.

This position requires someone who is self-motivated, physically fit, has excellent organizational skills, is attentive to detail, communicates effectively with customers and staff, has problem solving skills and is capable of attaining a high level of production with minimum supervision.  Must have knowledge of Ag industry operations including fertilizer.

The successful candidate must be physically able to do heavy lifting of 60lbs, climb ladders, kneel and be comfortable working at heights of at least 20 feet.

The Agro Yard Foreman must have a Power Mobile Equipment Certification, Fall Protection, TDG and WHMIS.  Training for TDG, WHMIS, Fall Protection and Power Mobile Equipment can be provided.  1A license is considered an asset.
