Education
Successful completion of a Bartending course at a recognized institution would be preferred. Successful completion of Responsible Service of Alcohol Program is required.
Experience
Experience in customer service and working with many diversified situations and personalities. Previous bartending experience in the restaurant and/or gaming industry would be preferred.
Knowledge
Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
Knowledge of the guidelines for responsible service of alcohol, and an understanding of the importance of strictly adhering to those guidelines.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to support change with optimism and openness.
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, in both written and verbal form.
Ability to provide exceptional hospitality based on First Nations values.
Ability to follow direction and work within established procedures.

Ability to handle a high volume of beverage orders, accurately and quickly, to quality standards.

Condition of Employment
Must consent to a background check in order to qualify as a gaming employee
Must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)
Must be 19 years of age or older
Other information
Irregular hours including evenings, nights, weekends and Holidays.
Could be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise level and sharp objects.
Coordination of fine movement, walking/standing continually, pushing/pulling regularly
