POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Senior Installation Technician, provide front-line customer service in both in-shop and out-of-shop environments.  Installation technicians must always act with tact and decorum to ensure customer needs are met.  A junior installation technician must identify and respond to customer needs, complete installations and provide front-line customer service.  The position will involve the prioritising of customer requirements and communicating with customers by telephone, email or in person. The Junior Installation Technician will be involved in the installation of internet and network equipment, vehicle remote starters and basic repairs of cellular devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Dealing with the general public
- Provide professional representation for the company
- Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers
   - Identify customer requirements (i.e. installation or service requirement)
   - Assess customer needs (prioritize)
   - Recommend solutions
   - Complete the installation process, including the processing of all installation-related documentation
   - Post installation follow-up
   - Ongoing customer support
- Deal with customers in person, by email or by telephone
- Continuous training to learn new products and product features
- Maintain work area, service vehicle, customer vehicle and customer premise cleanliness
- Continually apply safe work practices
