Applications are invited for a Full-Time Permanent (6.0 hrs/day) Library Clerk to provide support to the school library at Tisdale Elementary School. Duties will commence on November 1st, 2017 or as soon as can be mutually agreed upon.
Duties:
The primary responsibility of the position will be the cataloguing and classification of the schools Resource Centre material within the school and onto the school divisions library electronic database. Specific initial training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 diploma from a recognized educational institution or GED is required.
Formal training and/or previous experience in library environments would be considered an asset for the above-referenced position
Proficiency in the use of computers such as word processing and databases is required
Be willing to join the Local CUPE 4875 union
