The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation is looking for a creative communicator to develop and implement strategies and content to build meaningful connections amongst teachers and engage the public in issues and activities in PreK-12 education in Saskatchewan.

This position requires extensive knowledge of various social media platforms and tools, paid digital services and tracking platforms such as Google Analytics. Strong writing skills are required to complement and collaborate with an in-house design and production team to generate a wide variety of original content including text, images and video.  Other responsibilities include monitoring and responding to social media posts while growing the STF presence on existing platforms as well as looking for opportunities to expand to other channels.

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or English, combined with 2-3 years of related experience in activities such as reporting, writing, editing and video production. This position requires some travel throughout the province. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
