Description

YTCCFS Inc. is seeking a Director of Programs and Services.  Will monitor quality assurance measures and outcomes through overseeing and monitoring the administrative systems and procedures for case records, statistical reports and registries to ensure that administrative systems and procedures follow funding agencies guidelines and regulations regarding children in care and the YTCCFS Inc. Finance Policy.  Responsible for providing guidance, support and direction to staff to ensure consistent and timely service delivery with the prime objective of meeting the needs of children in care from our member First Nations.  Will formulate and actively participate in the recruitment process when required.  This position undertakes considerable organizational responsibilities in the Executive Director's absence.
Qualifications: BSW/BISW with significant experience in a social services organization. Knowledge and commitment to the FSIN Child Welfare and Family Support Act; The Child & Family Service Act of Saskatchewan; INAC Child and Family Service Program Directive 20-1 & the INAC Saskatchewan Region Child in Care Policy. Minimum five years Child and Family Services experience. Established abilities in the areas of Child Protection, Case Management and Prevention Services. Directly related supervisory and leadership skills. Conflict resolution, mediation and relationship building experience.  Ability to implement and lead program development. Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated ability for critical management in ambiguous or unfavorable situations. Ability to provide support in the development of accountability and quality assurance mechanisms. Current Criminal Record Check, Abuse Registry Check & valid driver's license. Must sign an Oath of Confidentiality and Non Disclosure agreement. Able to work weekends, some evenings & travel when required.
