The Ministry of Social Services requires an organized, energetic, and motivated individual to provide direct supervision and leadership to the Administrative Services team in the Fort Qu'Appelle Service Centre. As the Office Coordinator and indirectly reporting to the South Manager of Administrative Services, you will determine clerical needs, prepare job descriptions and complete the staffing process. You will also provide orientation, evaluate performance, determine training needs, approve leaves and participate as a team member within the office environment and in staff meetings. You will also liaise between Human Resources, accounting, property management and other departments/branches/agencies as required.
Your knowledge of office administrative procedures and policy, protocols, records management, filing systems, office equipment, and computer applications. You will also have the ability to establish and maintain open and honest work relationships with a variety of individuals which will be key to your success in this position.
Typically the knowledge required for this position is obtained through completion of a Grade XII diploma. A certificate or diploma in office administration and/or several years experience in administration support roles would be considered an asset.
