Job Description: Reporting to the Director Acute Care & Diagnostic Services, the Unit Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operations and patient flow of the Unit.  He/She will facilitate the use of critical thinking skills by the RN and LPN staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Minimum 3 years relevant Acute Care Nursing experience
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Change management skills
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position

Shifts consist of 0730-1600
Expected Start Date: October 30, 2017
Expected Up To Date: December 28, 2018
FTE: 0.86

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
96.00 hours per 3 week rotation: 12 shifts of 8.00 hours
