Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position; plans, organizes, coordinates and directs the operations of the maintenance contract, ensuring that all resources are safely, effectively, and efficiently utilized to achieve the goals and objectives of the maintenance contract
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effect project delivery;
In collaboration with the operations manager, establishes annual goals and budgets:
Plans, organizes and optimizes contract activities in order to provide quality services in a timely manner while maintaining budget goals;
Explore new business opportunities that utilizes resources effectively and efficiently;
Ensures compliance with all safety procedures and the Corporate Safety Program;
Determines and assigns personnel, equipment, and supplies required to manage the maintenance contract requirements;
Responsible for hiring, training, supervising and coordinating activities of foremen and operators. Ensure that qualified personnel are available to operate equipment;
Manages and controls costs within the superintendents operation;
Reviews job orders and determines the necessary personnel, material and equipment needed to complete construction, maintenance and repair projects;
Consults with operations manager on suggestions for preventive maintenance and operating procedures;
Ensures that QEMS policies and procedures are; established, implemented, communicated, maintained, and are in compliance;
Management of all records of maintenance, safety (security), and general administration;
Responsible for conducting and arranging final inspection of services completed;
Review and response of all Non-conformance Reports, and proved response to prevent recurrence;
Implement action plans to protect the environment and develop work instructions to control the environmental impact of our services.
