As operator you will be: accountable for the crews day-to-day work, safety and training: including: rig in and rig out of the rig carrier, derrick and related equipment (example: spots and levels the rig, raises and lowers the derrick, supervises rig-in and rig-out of the working floor). Oversees the operation of the rig. Performs service rig well control tasks. Oversees the loading and securing of the rig carrier, performs pre- and post-trip inspections and drives it safely to destinations in diverse weather and road conditions. Coordinates crew assignments and ensures equipment and resources are available when required, provides on-the-job training to junior crew members and safely transports crew members to and from lease.
