Description

GeoIT has two (2) positions available immediately as AutoCAD Drafting Engineer/Technologist.

Duties:
The creation of 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Map 3D, and CADWorx while following corporate standards
The updating of drawings to maintain existing mapping product of the natural gas facilities across the province
The creation of Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings for new pipeline facilities
The creation of piping mechanical drawings
Participate in the implementation of a new Corporate GIS, using ESRI software
Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards, procedures, and specifications
Participate in meetings related to work load, deadlines, and specific project expectations

Must Qualifications:
Candidates must have graduated with an Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited institution, in the following disciplines (copy of Diploma to be submitted with resume):
   o CAD
   o Geomatics & Survey
   o Mechanical   Civil  
   o Electrical
Candidates must have experience with Autodesk Software. Provide details of relevant experience the candidate has in the following fields:     
   o AutoDesk software (specify which software, and hours per day usage*)
   o GIS and GPS Survey Data (specify experience in working with survey data points with CAD or GIS software, which program used, and hours per day usage*)  
   o Databases (specify programming skills and database entry, which software program used, and hours per day usage*)
   o 3D modelling software (specify experience in working with 3D modeling software, which program used, and hours per day usage*)
A valid Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers license or equivalent
