Prairie Pride Credit Union (PPCU) is a full-service credit union with approximately $100 million in assets and more than 2,500 members with 3 branch locations.  Our branches are located in Southern Saskatchewan in the communities of Alameda, Alida and Gainsborough. Our Credit Union is actively seeking an Agriculture Commercial Account Manager to join our team.

Position

Reporting to the Manager of Lending, this position will be responsible for the development and growth of the agriculture and commercial portfolio for the credit union.  

The primary responsibilities will include:
Conduct interviews with members to identify lending needs.
Perform annual reviews of risk and profitability, identify and monitor trends, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective agriculture and commercial members.
Identify and pursue opportunities to promote credit union products and services, review current portfolios to ensure members have proper financial solutions.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of applicable credit union policies, government legislation as it pertains to lending.  
Promote and maintain active involvement in the community.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have post-secondary education plus a minimum of five to seven years of agriculture and commercial banking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

You have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with your co-workers and members.  The individual will also have exceptional communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
