The Ramada Plaza Regina has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Sales Manager to represent the hotel's services in both Regina and Saskatoon. The Sales Manager will be based out of Regina and will be responsible for initiating, soliciting and negotiating contracts for hotel business. The ideal candidate for this role will proactively engage with prospective and existing clients, and cultivate long-term customer relationships in correlation with the sales objectives for the organization.
The Job:
-Actively seeks new business by contacting and servicing key target accounts within the assigned market segment.
-Team player with positive outlook
- Regular involvement in industry associations and trade shows.
- Secures business through prospecting, networking, presentations & sales calls.
-Communicates with all areas of the hotel to maximize efficiency and ensure all guest needs are taken care of.
-Negotiate and finalize contracts with prospective clients and initiate follow up
- Evaluate strategies and develop effective short & long term plans to meet the changing needs of the hotel.
-Ability to travel for sales in Saskatoon
Your Experience & Expertise:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality
- Results oriented and passionate about superior customer service
- Excellent communication skills & ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- High school diploma required; certified post-secondary education in sales or the hospitality field is considered an asset
