KNOWLEDGE:
SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture; WHMIS and other industry safety standards; basic carpentry, plumbing, heating, & electrical tools & equipment, as well as construction materials.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
-Must consent to a background check to qualify as a gaming employee
-Must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certification of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority (SLGA)
-Must be 19 years of age or older
-Possess valid SK driver's license

OTHER INFORMATION:
-Irregular hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
-Exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, dust and sharp objects

MAIN DUTIES:
Maintenance of SIGA's memorable facilities, by carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks to provide a safe and efficient environment for Casino guests/staff. Responsibilities include: Performing scheduled and emergency maintenance requests on a wide variety of specialized equipment, general structural maintenance and semi-skilled trade work. Carrying out preventative maintenance according to established programs and schedules. Providing a wide variety of support services to other departments.
