Position Summary:

The Manager, Quality & Operational Excellence will be the product quality champion, providing leadership & guidance for the maintenance & continuous improvement of the Companys Quality Management System.

Education & Experience Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years experience in product quality in a high volume product environment.
* Post-secondary education
* Experienced in ISO 9001 implementation
* Excellent leadership skills
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to coach & guide others in all aspects of Quality
* Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience an advantage

Duties to include (but not limited to):

* Establish & drive product quality requirements & control points into new & existing products
* Provide teams with analysis to drive higher first pass yield
* Quantify & track cost of quality
* Project manage quality events should they arise
* Conduct audits of current & potential suppliers
* Maintain & improve the Companys Quality Management System
* Plan, conduct & report findings of internal audits
* Provide leadership & promote understanding within the Company for Quality certification requirements
* Optimize & document key processes.
* Conduct regular Management Review meetings
* * Be the company-wide ambassador for Quality
