The Salvation Army Gemma House is seeking an energetic, team oriented, Permanent Full-time Awake Night worker (approximately 64 hours bi-weekly that includes a combination of 8, 9 and 12 hour shifts). Ideally, candidates will have experience working with at risk teens and be comfortable working alone as needed. Candidates will possess a certificate in youth care; a bachelor level degree in social work, the social sciences or relevant human services area or be actively working toward a certificate or degree in one of these areas. Candidates must possess a current First Aid/CPR certificate and a valid driver's licence. Mandatory training in TCI, ASIST, etc. will be provided. The successful applicant will be required to present a Criminal Record check (within 6 months) and a recent Driving Abstract.
