Under the supervision of the New and/or Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Managers, this position is responsible for selling/leasing new and previously-owned vehicles on standards of gross profit, volume and the satisfaction of Dealership customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome customers to the Dealership, and build a relationship of trust and demonstrate serious commitment to customer satisfaction
Assist customers in selecting vehicles, by asking them questions and listening carefully to their answers, in order to identify their needs
Discuss with potential customers the vehicles product performance
Describe any optional equipment the customer might purchase
Offer to road test a vehicle for any potential customer
Explain the terms and conditions of leasing versus purchasing vehicles
Negotiate the price and have the transaction approved by the Sales Manager
Deliver vehicles to the customers
Contact customers within 48-hours of the sale to ensure that they are satisfied
Contact the customers who did not make a purchase within 24-hours of their visit
Seize business opportunities; solicit and search for new customers, on a regular basis, making maximum use of various prospecting tools
Qualifications:
Strong selling abilities
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Excellent customer service skills
Computer literacy
Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Organizational ability and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
Two (2) years imported vehicle sales experience
Dealership experience preferred
Valid Drivers License
