Description

The Wingate by Wyndham Regina is currently seeking a new member of our Guest Services team as a part time Guest Services Agent.

The Guest Service Agent is a key role within the Guest Service team.  The position requires you to work independently while upholding the Heartland hospitality the Wingate by Wyndham is known for.   We are looking for someone who is detailed oriented, a problem solver, able to handle cash, has excellent communication skills and maintains a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with all manor of guests throughout the various stages of check ins and check out.  Customer service and hotel experience is an asset.  Experience preferred but not necessary as we will train the right candidate.  
Ability to cover night audit shifts is an asset.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:    
    Creating high levels of guest satisfaction through dedication to customer service in all guest interactions
    Responding to guest and phone inquiries in a professional way.
    Register arriving guest in a fast efficient manner and assign rooms.
    Presenting departure guest with statements and the collection of payments.
    The Handing of cash, credit cards and the POS system.
    Making reservations and having a vast knowledge of room types, rate and promotions.
    Carrying out any other duties assigned by management.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    High degree of customer service orientation, integrity and ethics
    Good organizational skill set, the ability to read, write and speak English.
    Capable of managing multiple priorities and working under pressure
    Able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including weeknight and weekends
    Required to use discretion in dealing with confidential information
