Permanent, Full time position, 35 hours per week.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience applying stucco coatings to residential or commercial structures
-knowledge of materials, methods, tools, equipment involved in the application of coats of plaster or stucco
-capable of working on a scaffold
-able to lift and move objects weighing up to 30kg
Responsibilities:
-clean and prepare surfaces for application of plaster and cement stucco
-install specified insulation to exterior surfaces according to blueprint specifications
-mix mortar and plaster to desired consistency or direct others to perform mixing
-apply coatings of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings using trowels, brushes or spray guns
-Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat
-Cure freshly plastered surfaces
-Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim
