3 Web Programmers Needed
IIBC is a Saskatoon-based business consulting & immigration company. We are currently seeking 3 experienced programmers for a permanent, full-time positions of Web Developers to build components for an internal web portal.
This is a permanent, full-time position in Saskatoon with starting (hourly) wage of $20.00 to $30.00 depending on experience. After 3 months probationary period, you will be eligible for company extended medical benefits. Subsequent salary increases will be based on performance and assessed every 12 months.
Must have minimum 5 years experience programming online systems and possess a great attitude, good communication skills, and integrity. A university or college degree in a related field is required as well as an ability to effectively communicate in English. Successful candidates will have direct experience working with Node.js, Vue,js, RESTful web services, HTML 5 and CSS 3.
Duties/responsibilities:
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Required skills:
5+ years of online development experience
Strong skills with Node.JS, HTML5, Java Script, Java
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems and web application development
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Experience with Ubuntu, Apache, AWS, Apigee Security Products
Ability to collaborate with a globally-distributed team
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines based on assigned tasks
