Description

We are a trucking company with the head office in Regina. Job location: 4614 Padwick Crescent, Regina, SK, S4W 0C5; routes across Western Canada & USA
Annual salary is $50,000/year based on work week of 40 hrs/week. Working schedules may vary depending on customer orders. Potential to earn up to $86,000 based on 48-70 hr/week. Benefits after 3 months: Dental, Vision, Life, Prescription Drugs, Long & Short term disability.
Requirements:
Min 2 years of truck-trailer experience
1A drivers license, Air brake endorsement, Clean Driver Abstract
Drug test & Criminal Record Check
English-Functional
Experience with Supper B pneumatic trailers, oilfield tickets are advantageous
H2S Alive, CPR & First Aid, WHIMIS, TDG certificates or willingness to obtain them
Physically fit for the job, able to lift up to 50 lb
Bondable
Ability to travel to the USA
Must be available for 14-day trips when necessary, must be willing to work up to 60-70 hours a week
Responsibilities
Operate tractor-trailer according to driving regulations to do long-distance delivery of products & materials, e.g. frac sand, cement, fluids from plants
Provide safe, prompt and courteous service to customers
Load & unload trailers as per customer order
Maintain vehicles; perform emergency roadside repairs if able to
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment & accessories; submits reports indicating truck condition and any relevant incidents
Weight before & after loading and along route to document weigh and conform to regulations
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Communicate with dispatcher and customers using communication devices and on-board computers
Wear personal protective equipment
