Sunrise Health Region requires an additional Radiologist, certified or eligible for certification, with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, who is licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. The successful candidate must maintain membership and insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Position Summary and Geographic Information:
A full-time position is currently vacant for a Radiologist with excellent diagnostic and communication skills. This is one of three permanent, full-time positions and requires skills in general diagnostic radiology/fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound and computed tomography. The position works out of the Yorkton Regional Health Centre in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, an 87-bed acute care referral centre. Service is also provided to 10 rural facilities and health centers. On-call coverage on a rotational basis is required.
Sunrise Regional Health Authority is a progressive organization located in the east central part of the province of Saskatchewan, with a Regional population of approximately 68,000. Our referral area for many of our specialty services is much larger, approximately 100,000. The Region extends itself about an hour drive north, south, east and west of Yorkton. We currently provide the following specialty services:
