Herdsperson/General Farm Worker required for a larger, progressive and fully modernized mixed cattle and grain farm in Southern Saskatchewan. The farm currently operates approximately 400 head of Angus cattle and has plans to expand the herd size if a suitable worker can be found.
The primary duties for this position are feeding and herd management, but the candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in grain operations.
Significant herd management skills are required as well as a desire to take on more responsibility for the growth and maintenance of the cattle operation.
Starting wage is between 21 and 24 CAD \ hour depending on the experience.
Accommodation is available at a very modest cost, and the employer is willing to assist the right employee in acquiring their own cattle to integrate into the herd.
