The Job:
As an administrative assistant you will be working in a fast-pace office environment. You will be supporting the day-to-day operations of the company by answering phone calls, speaking to customers, handling and completing paperwork, as well as assisting in various office duties as assigned.
Education: Grade 12 (office administration course or equivalent education an asset).
Previous Experience: A minimum of one to two years in a similar position. Please note that full training will be provided.
Duties:
Completing and filing paperwork
Communicating with clients and customers both on the phone and in person
Regular administrative duties such as filing, sending and receiving emails, etc.
Aiding in day-to-day operations
Required Skills:
Attention to detail
Proofreading
Customer service
Organizational skills
Data entry and filing knowledge
Experience with office computer programs such as Excel
Excellent on the phone communication skills
Commitment to and understanding of privacy
Bondable
Excellent face to face communication
Ability to switch tasks quickly and efficiently
Certifications: Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract an asset
