We are recruiting for a Red Seal Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic with construction equipment experience. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic Construction Service Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repairing and service of construction equipment at our clients shop located in Lloydminster, SK. If you would like to grow your experience in the construction equipment field, then we want to hear from you!
Our client has been selling and servicing heavy duty trucks, construction, agricultural, forestry, and oil and gas equipment for over 60 years. They have been named one of Saskatchewans top 100 businesses by Saskatchewan Business Magazine and pride themselves on their state of the art facilities.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full Time.
Salary: Depends on experience.
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available, as well as RRSP plan.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Location: Lloydminster, SK.
Experience:
Experience as a service technician.
Previous dealership experience preferred.
Education:
Heavy Duty Mechanic Red Seal Certificate or equivalent.
4th year apprentices will be considered.
Skills and qualifications:
Customer focused with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Overall mechanical ability.
Strong computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs, preference will be given to mechanics with Volvo construction equipment experience.
Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics.
Very strong organizational skills.
Diligent and detail oriented.
Excellent mechanical/technical background.
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT: Required to have own tools.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
