Redhead Equipment has an exciting career opportunity for a Lead Employee Benefits Coordinator based out of our state of the art Regina Head Office.
Description:
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position will support all aspects of employee benefits administration and assist with the payroll process.
The primary responsibilities of this position will include:
- Administration of group benefit program and RRSP program
- Calculation and reconciliation of taxable benefits
- Act as backup payroll administrator when necessary
- Assist with and provide backup for other general accounting and finance duties as assigned
- Generate and distribute preliminary and final financial reports
- Responsible for cash reconciliations, direct deposits and parts and service daily sales reports
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:
- Working knowledge of payroll systems with at least 2-5 years of direct payroll experience; familiarity with ADP is considered an asset
- Excellent problem solving skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain employee confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Possess a positive and team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Some accounting experience is preferred
The ideal candidate will have or be working towards their PCP designation
