Description

Pineland Co-op located in Nipawin SK, is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Agro Manager.
Reporting to and partnering with the Agro Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the operations of the Nipawin Agro Centre including sales; gross margin and expense control; department standards, ordering and inventory control; human resources; guest service, administrative duties; department merchandising and corporate social responsibility activities.

You will hold a degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field, or a relevant combination of experience is required.  

Working Conditions:
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 kg; must have the ability to push or pull up to 600 kg using a pallet jack
May be required to be on ones feet for an extended period of time
Must be willing to obtain Power Mobile Equipment Operator (PMEO) Certificate, WHMIS, TDG
Candidates must have strong marketing skills and strong knowledge of bins and farm equipment, and possess good organizational, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must be available for intermittent day travel in the Nipawin and Choiceland area.
