Description

Prairie North Health Region Lloydminster Hospital is seeking full-time / part-time Hospitalist Physicians to join an established group of Family Medicine physicians.  As part of the Hospitalist team, you will be responsible for providing medical services as follows:
    Admission and management of approximately 16-18 inpatients per Hospitalist daily
    Provide ongoing hospital care for acutely ill family medicine patients
    Provide clinical management which includes daily interdisciplinary care rounding and discharge summaries
    Share in after-hours coverage
    Assist as required in the Emergency Room
    Admission and discharge of newborns; attendance at delivery if complicated factors exist.
    Supported by specialist services including ENT, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, OB/Gyne, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry

Candidates must enjoy working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment to provide high quality and efficient hospital care.  System solutions will be achieved through:
    Participation in the performance measurements of Connected Care Model of practice and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.  Ideal candidates will have a combination of family practice and emergency medicine.  

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certifications are required.
