Description

Our family is a busy professional family seeking a permanent full-time caregiver to care for our four children, 9, 7, 5, and 2 in a private household. Starting wage is $13.26/hr with 40-hour work week. Over 44 work hours will be paid over time rate. The caregiver must be willing to sign a two-year work agreement. No benefit is available at this time.

Applicant must meet the following requirements:
-Minimum of high school diploma required.
-Completion of Canadian recognized caregiver training course is required
-Minimum of 2 years experience with more than 3 children.
-Possession of valid first aid certification, with updated CPR.
-Mandatory Criminal Record Check.
-Must be non-smoking
-A valid driver's license is required.
-Must be able to speak, write, and comprehend in English Language.
-Must demonstrate evidence of being patient with children either by experience or references.
-Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in the workplace and show evidence of ability to manage situations pertaining to child caregiving as required in a Canadian Workplace. This will be assessed during the interview.  
Optional accommodations available at no charge to the care giver on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment. In-home accommodation will include a private furnished bedroom with dead bolt lock, Cable TV, and Free access to hi-speed internet.

Caregiver is expected to assume full responsibility of child care and household management in the absence of parents such as assist in meal planning, and preparation, organize children's activity, homework, assistance with laundry, running errands, tending to emotional well-being of children, and other routine housekeeping tasks and children's disciplinary actions as directed by parents.
