Description

The Northeast Regional Housing Authority (NERHA) is located in the communities of Creighton and Sandy Bay, and serves the surrounding communities. The NERHA is currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Tenant Relations Officer to join the Creighton office, with frequent travel between the two locations. If you have proven problem solving skills, work well in a team environment, and have a desire to provide the very best customer service in the community, we have a position that may be of interest to you!!

What youll do:
coordinate move-ins and move-outs;
manage housing applications, conduct income reviews, calculate rental fees, and collect rent;
monitor, maintain contact, and manage record keeping of current/former tenants;
explain leasing agreements and expectations of tenancy;
investigate lease violations; assist and perform procedures for tenant hearings in conjunction with the Office of the Residential Tenancies.

What were looking for:
exceptional customer relations skills, accurate data entry skills;
ability to problem solve, manage conflict and stressful situations;
ability to establish effective working relationships;
accountability and ownership of the role with demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.

What youll need:
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent with experience in a property management environment, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Post-secondary education in business administration, social services, or education would be considered an asset;
Respect for the diversity of others;
Valid Class 5 drivers license;
Ability to travel as required.
