Are you passionate about doing meaningful work?  Do you care about water as one of our most important resources?  Water Security Agency is seeking an enthusiastic CAD Technologist to join our team.

As a CAD Technologist you will complete preliminary, construction, post construction drawings, and drawings of record of mainly a civil and structural nature as well as other drafting assignments utilizing CAD software ensuring completed drawings are neat, accurate and complete.  You will prepare, interpret and compile information from preliminary designs and sketches to create and finalize project plans and undertake quantity takeoffs of varying complexity for cost estimate purposes.  You will collect, store and analyze civil and structural field measurements and other geographic data for use in project plans, including digitizing data, creating and maintaining drawings, image and plan indexes, and field verification of completed drawings to ensure constructability.

The successful candidate must possess a diploma in CAD Engineering Technology, Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or similar discipline and will have, or will immediately obtain and maintain registration with Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT) as an Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T) and 4 or more years of experience.
