Proveta Nutrition is on a path of continued growth and are looking to expand their team in Bruno Saskatchewan. Reporting to the General Manger, the Production Supervisor will be a self-motivated and highly organized individual. This is a pivotal position requiring an individual with sound business sense and strong leadership skills, coupled with an eye for detail and overall cost control experience. It will appeal to a take charge solution orientated individual who is able to bring the ability and past operations management experience to the position. As the Production Supervisor, you will bring leadership, management and communication skills to the job.  You will aspire to increase efficiencies from a manufacturing and financial standpoint.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
> Oversee the production process; ensure that all standard operations procedures and policies are adhered to and that the highest of quality is maintained.
> Oversee the general maintenance of building, plant and yard.
> Supervise product delivery, ensuring all products are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
> Evaluate and maintain appropriate levels of inventory for both ingredients and store stock.
> Analyze branch and prepare annual operational budgets.
> Manage and develop personnel.
Qualifications
> Previous Feed or Agricultural Experience
> Previous Experience at a Managerial Level, preferably in a non-unionized industry.
>HACCP experience an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
> Great communications and inter-personnel skills.
> Sound knowledge of operations processes, policies and procedures.
> Expert knowledge of various computer programs.
> Work in a fast-paced environment and multi task.
> Create and develop a strong team
