Description

Do you like to cook homestyle meals? Are you good with Seniors? Then the Moose Jaw & District Seniors is the place to apply! We are looking for a part-time Assistant Cook who will also do Banquets as required.

Under the direction of the Head Cook,the Assistant Cook is responsible for:  (Weekdays 12-15 hours/week)
1) Assisting the Cook with food preparation such as chopping vegetables.
2) Preparing sandwiches at the Sandwich Counter
3) Baking (pies, tarts, muffins, cookies, etc)
4) Serving meals.
5) Using the cash register.
6) Cleaning of appliances (stoves, fridges, etc) as necessary
7) Maintaining a clean working area - counters, floors, sinks.
8) Doing dishes as required.

Banquet Cook Duties include: (Occasional evenings or weekends)
1) Preparing and serving home cooked banquet meals for 20-100+ people.
2) Working with volunteers
3) Maintaining a clean working area
4) Doing cleanup and dishes as necessary.
