Moose Jaw Pride is currently seeking applications from motivated individuals for our Winter Events Coordinator position. We are looking for passionate individuals wanting to improve their English skills and help make a difference in Saskatchewan! This position involves: assisting in the planning and coordination of our winter community events for youth across Saskatchewan, participating as a Moose Jaw Pride representative (and resource person) at community events, and providing administrative support and supervision at our Pride drop-in centre. The Moose Jaw Pride drop-in centre offers information, resources and social supports to members of the LGBT community and their families. This is a full time contract (40 hrs/wk from Jan. 8, 2018 - Mar. 31, 2018).

**Who can apply**

A student may be eligible for employment if they:

are legally entitled to work in Canada;
will be between 16 and 30 years of age at the start of employment;
are willing to commit to the full duration of the work assignment;
will not have another full-time job (over 30 hours a week) during the Young Canada Works (YCW) work assignment;
have been a full-time high school, college, CEGEP or university student (as defined by their educational institution) in the semester preceding the YCW work assignment;
intend to return to full-time studies in the semester following the YCW work assignment;

A basic interest in the LGBT community and desire to support its development in smaller communities is ideal. Experience planning, delivering and evaluating events and programs would be considered an asset.
